Spring is a popular time to book. The weather is warming up, the snow is melting, and homeowners are thinking about summer projects. The advantage of spring is that your system is ready to go before summer arrives — patio season, late evenings, and Canada Day all look better with your home lit up.

The one thing to watch for in spring is that we need the snow to be off your roofline before we can install. If there is still ice in the gutters, we will wait for it to clear.

Summer (June to August)

Summer is our busiest season. The days are long, the weather is reliable, and the fascia is completely clear. If you want a summer install, book early — we schedule on a first-come, first-served basis, and our summer slots fill up fast.

The advantage of a summer install is that you get to enjoy your lights right away. Summer evenings on the deck, with your home lit up in warm white, is a different experience.

Fall (September to November)

Fall is the sweet spot for a lot of homeowners. The weather is still good, but more importantly, your system is ready before the holiday season. If you install in October or early November, you are set up for Christmas, New Year, and the entire winter.

This is when we get the most calls from homeowners who are tired of paying someone to hang Christmas lights every year. A permanent system means you never do that again.

Winter (December to February)

Yes, we install in winter. The sealants we use are rated for cold-weather application, and the track is mechanically fastened. We have done installs at -20C without issues.

The advantage of a winter install is availability — our schedule is more open, so you can often get in faster. The one requirement is that we need clear access to your fascia. If there is a thick layer of ice in your gutters, we may need to wait for a warm spell.
